Handwriting

- Practice writing letters in shaving cream or play dough
- Rainbow writing-An adult will write a letter or word and the student will trace it in as many colors as possible
- Copying-Adult will write a word or sentence, the student will copy it in their journal
- Write in a journal daily.
Writing

- Have students tell an adult a sentence after writing/drawing and the adult will scribe it on their picture
- Kindergarten-remember to add labels to pictures
- First Grade-Start with sentences and then illustrate
Counting
